The Asbury Pirate Perspective Club, a student-led social media organization, meets regularly to explore and shape how the community views Asbury Academy. Driven by a mission to transform external perceptions, these high school students brainstorm and produce content that highlights the positive events, achievements, and everyday successes taking place within the school's halls.
In honor of Attendance Awareness Month this September, the club is launching a new campaign focused on the total student experience. While consistent attendance is essential for academic success and personal dedication, the Pirate Perspective team wants to remind students that attending school is about more than just grades. Missing school also means missing out on the unique opportunities, activities, and vibrant culture that make Asbury Academy special.
Throughout the month, the club will feature its "If Only You Were Here" series, sharing exclusive looks at the "extras" that community members and prospective students might not otherwise see. Be sure to follow the Pirate Perspective social media channels to catch these upcoming highlights and discover what makes being present at Asbury Academy so rewarding.
