In a continued effort to foster student success and maintain strong inter-school support, East Lincoln High School counselors Stephanie Hemmerich and David Rice visited Asbury Academy today to connect with students and review their academic and personal progress for the current school year.
The visit provided an opportunity for Hemmerich and Rice to meet face-to-face with East Lincoln students currently attending Asbury Academy, ensuring a seamless connection between the two campuses. During the meetings, the counselors checked in on student coursework, discussed upcoming milestones, and offered guidance on stay-on-track strategies for graduation.
"Maintaining a close relationship with our students, no matter where they are completing their coursework, is essential," the counseling department noted regarding the initiative. "Visits like today's allow us to celebrate their achievements, address any challenges early, and ensure they feel fully supported by their home school family."
During the campus visit, Hemmerich and Rice met individually with students to evaluate academic growth, discuss credit structure, and review post-secondary planning. Staff at Asbury Academy highlighted the importance of these collaborative check-ins, emphasizing how joint school support builds confidence and keeps students focused on their long-term goals.
As the school year moves forward, the East Lincoln counseling team plans to maintain regular communication and follow-up visits to ensure every student remains equipped with the tools and encouragement needed to achieve academic success.
