Lincoln County Schools is a Pace Setter for the Lincoln County United Way Campaign

Lincoln County Schools raised $30,550.76 last year with Love Memorial Elementary and North Lincoln High School holding the plaques for high contributors to the campaign.

Our goal for this year is $36,000.  Each Elementary School and Middle/High School will compete for the United Way Plaque.

The United Way Campaign in Lincoln County Schools begins Monday, September 8th and ends on Monday, October 20th.  Payroll deduction forms will be due on October 8th to Penni Davis in Finance.

Each Elementary School and Middle/High School will compete for the famous United Way Plaque.

Thank you to all the employees, students, and community for their participation!

Hometown Hero

In conjunction with area school systems, the Charlotte law firm of Charles G. Monnett III & Associates announces the Hometown Hero Teacher Appreciation Program.  To recognize the commitment our teachers make to their students, the law firm has chosen to award a monthly $250 Visa Gift Card to a deserving teacher in Mecklenburg and surrounding counties to be used for classroom supplies during the upcoming school year.

Students, families, faculty and anyone from the community may nominate and vote for their favorite teacher by visiting the web page www.carolinalaw.com and click on the “Vote” button. Nominations are now open.
