The 2025 session of the North Carolina Governor’s School began on June 22, welcoming selected students from across the state to the West campus at Greensboro College in Greensboro and the East campus at Meredith College in Raleigh.
This summer residential program is designed for North Carolina’s gifted and talented high school students, offering a blend of academic subjects, the arts, and distinctive courses. The four-week session will continue through July 19.
Lincolnton High School’s very own Ja’Rehyl Hamilton is among the students in attendance this year.
