Classroom of 3 students and 1 teacher writing a mission statement at a large table.

Our students hit the ground running this week as we officially kicked off our Leader in Me program! Classrooms across every grade level were buzzing with energy, collaboration, and inspiration as students began exploring what it truly means to be a leader.

Throughout the week, students dove into the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, discovering how simple daily choices—like being proactive, beginning with the end in mind, and prioritizing first things first—can help them succeed both in and out of the classroom.

To anchor these principles, each class worked together to craft its very own Classroom Mission Statement. Students shared their personal values, discussed their shared goals for the school year, and created unique displays that will serve as a daily reminder of their collective purpose and commitment to one another.

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, maturity, and teamwork our young leaders have shown during this first week. This is just the beginning of a transformative year, and we can’t wait to watch our students continue to grow, lead, and inspire!
