Let’s partner up and pave the way for our students' futures! 🌟

Our custodial staff works hard behind the scenes each day to keep our school clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for learning! We are so grateful for the care, dedication, and positive spirit they bring to our school family.
Thank you for all you do for our students and staff! Our Colts are lucky to have you! 🧹✨🐎

Our 5th graders are putting leadership into action through our Service Squad! 💙
Each morning, these student leaders help greet students as they arrive, and each afternoon they step up to assist with loading students and making dismissal run smoothly. Throughout the day, they also look for opportunities to serve, help others, and make a positive difference around our school.
We are so proud of our 5th graders for showing that leadership is not just about being in charge—it’s about serving others, taking responsibility, and making our school a better place. 👏✨
Way to lead, 5th Grade! 💙

Good Afternoon Families and Happy Wednesday!
I wanted to share some specific information regarding the Fun Run PreRegistration form that is being sent home this week (you may have already received it).
This year, we are excited to have family members be able to join our students as they walk their laps during the Fun Run versus simply watching in the stands. Because of this change, we need to preregister visitors that plan to come to the Fun Run for everyone's safety.
So what do you need to do?
ANY person that plans to come and be a part of the Fun Run, regardless of whether they plan to walk laps or not, must be included on the preregistration form. Our office staff will have a list of preregistered individuals for each class and when you arrive at the Fun Run we will check that list for your preregistration and hand you a visitor's sticker to walk through the gate.
What happens if I do not fill out the preregistration form?
If you forget or come on the day of the Fun Run and we do not have you preregistered, you will need to stop by the front office to scan your license as you normally would as a school visitor and then walk back down to the field with your sticker.
If you need a new form, please reach out to your child's teacher. If you are unsure of whether you would like to attend, it is advisable to go ahead and complete the form as a just-in-case measure.
Again, this is to help in securing the safety of all individuals present at the Fun Run- students and families- and to help the process run smoothly and as fast as possible. This process will be used at future events as well (parties, etc.) and does not take the place of your annual background check to attend field trips or other volunteer opportunities.
Thank you and we look forward to having you at our annual Fun Run! It's going to be a blast!
~Mrs. Reynolds

Let’s partner up and pave the way for our students' futures! 🌟

Students were practicing their phonics skills, learning how to complete a computer reading station, and working in a small group with one of our wonderful classroom Trilogy volunteers.
Through these learning stations, our students are learning that being a leader means taking responsibility for your learning, working together, asking for help when you need it, and doing your best even when something is new or challenging. 🌟
We are so proud of the independence, responsibility, and leadership our first graders are developing each day! 📖💻✨

Good Afternoon!
Our students have had a great week and are looking forward to the long weekend for Labor Day!

We are collecting gently used Halloween costumes of all sizes in conjunction with the City of Lincolnton. These costumes will be cleaned, mended, and then given out in October at the Apple Festival. We will collect costumes until October 2nd. Thank you for your help with this initiative!
If you did not know, one of our own staff, Mrs. Bartholomew (Kindergarten Teacher Assistant) has cancer. She is currently doing well with her treatment plan and we are cheering her on to remission!
