Lincoln County Public Education Foundation (LCPEF) Grant Winner Abby Goodson, Art Teacher at Catawba Springs Elementary, used grant funds to purchase four pottery wheels for her art classes. In Clay Club, students stay after school and learn the basics of pottery and clay molding. The LCPEF funds mini teaching grants that demonstrate innovative approaches to instructional practice as well as solve educational problems or meet significant challenges that have not been met effectively. If you would like more information about the Foundation, visit our website www.lincoln.k12.nc.us If you would like to join the Foundation, contact Linda Matney, Clerk to the Board, at linda.matney@lincoln.k12.nc.us.
