Dear Iron Station Families,
We would like to share a few important updates for the week of January 12th.
Report cards will be sent home on January 15th. This is a great opportunity to check in with your child, celebrate their accomplishments, and set goals together for the spring semester and the remainder of the school year. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher.
This week, students will be introduced to "Leader in Me" Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood. This habit focuses on listening carefully to others, trying to understand different perspectives, and then sharing our own thoughts respectfully. Practicing this habit helps students build empathy, improve communication, and strengthen relationships.
Please note a transportation update: students who typically ride bus 87 will be riding bus 91 for the next month or so while maintenance is being completed.
Looking ahead, there will be no school on Monday, January 19th, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.
