Good Evening Iron Station Families
We want to start by saying thank you to everyone who came out to our PTO Dance on Friday evening! It was so much fun seeing our Engineer families laughing, dancing, and making memories together. We truly appreciate your continued support of our school and PTO!
This week we are excited to celebrate Read Across America Week as we encourage a love of reading across our campus. We hope you’ll join us in celebrating with our spirit days:
Monday: Thing 1 & Thing 2 – Twin with a Friend
Tuesday: No School (Primary Voting Day – many schools are used as voting sites)
Wednesday: Oh, the Places You’ll Go – Dress as your future career
Thursday: Fox in Socks – Crazy or Lots of Socks Day
Friday: The Sleep Book – Pajama Day
We can’t wait to see our Engineers participate while we celebrate the joy and importance of reading!
As we move into the month of March, we will begin learning about Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw from Leader in Me. Habit 7 reminds us to take care of ourselves by keeping a healthy balance in our lives. This includes caring for our bodies, minds, hearts, and spirits. We’ll be talking with students about ways to recharge, set goals, and continue growing as leaders both in and out of the classroom.
Important Reminders & Looking Ahead:
No School Tuesday due to Primary Voting Day.
All Pro Dads – Friday, March 6th at 7:20 AM in the cafeteria.
No School Monday, March 9th due to a Teacher Workday as we wrap up the third nine weeks.
Thank you for partnering with us and supporting our Engineers each day. We look forward to another great week at Iron Station!
