Good evening, Iron Station families! It’s going to be a busy and exciting week at the Station!

On Tuesday, October 6th, students are invited to wear school-appropriate pajamas as we get ready for our Pumpkins, Pages, and PJs Family Reading Night. We hope you’ll join us Tuesday evening from 4:30 to 6:00 for some family reading fun. The Book Fair will also be open during the event!

On Wednesday October 7th, our first graders will travel to the park to learn all about safety. First-grade families, please be sure students are dressed appropriately for the weather.

Thursday, October 8th, is Picture Day.  All students and staff will have their picture made. You may purchase pictures by either returning flyer sent home earlier or online using directions in the email version of this message.

Friday, October 9th, will be our second All Pro Dads gathering of the year. We invite any positive role models to join us with their Engineer at 7:20am in the cafeteria.

Looking ahead, there will be no school for students on Monday, October 12th and Tuesday, October 13th due to teacher professional development and end of nine-weeks workday.

Looking for a way to be more involved at Iron Station? Be on the lookout for a volunteer flyer coming home soon with ways you can get involved at Iron Station.  Just fill it out and return.

And finally, thank you for continuing to support our Superhero Walk-a-thon! Let’s keep those donations going and make it a SUPER success!

Tomorrow evening a special message will go out from one of our Engineers sharing about Habit 1 of Leader in Me.  Thank you for your continued support and I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday evening!
