Welcome back, Engineers! As you begin to think about the year ahead, it's time for your 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader to decide if they are interested in being a part of "Madagascar Kids" at Iron Station! Auditions will be on Thursday, August 20th right after school, and you will be able to find your audition packet with Ms. McGuire at Open House. Other important dates will be our first rehearsal on August 27th until 4:00 PM; rehearsals, which will be on Wednesdays during the school day during the fall and Thursdays after school during the spring; and the show date, which will be on Saturday, March 20th, 2027. We hope you will come audition!

The verdict is in! Fourth grade students participated in a mock courtroom trial based on the story The Emperor's New Clothes. Students analyzed texts, cited strong evidence, and worked collaboratively to defend their cases.

Field day will be Monday, May 18th. It will be a time to celebrate friendships and have fun together. For safety, it is a student-only event - unless you are an adult volunteering at a specific station. Notes have been sent home to fill out and return if you are interested in volunteering. Please know, that date may be wrong on some green notes sent home - field day is MONDAY, MAY 18th (rain date is the 19th).

We’re excited to welcome Jolie Fabrizio to our Engineer Family! Jolie is joining us as our School-Based Therapist from Kintegra Health, and we are so grateful to have her supporting our students. She will be with us two days a week for the remainder of this school year, with hopes of expanding to full-time next school year. If you feel your child could benefit from her support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the school or connect with Jolie directly via email for more information about services. We’re excited about the positive impact she will have on our students and school community!
