Kindergarten and First Grade Cub Award Time today!! We enjoyed a couple rounds of Capture the Flag and popcorn with a juice box. Way to go, Cubs!!! A special thank you to Mrs. Barkes and Mr. Jeremy for organizing and set everything up!! The kids had a blast! Cubs who have 2 or fewer unexcused absences, 3 or fewer minor incidents, and no major incidents/office referrals for the quarter enjoy a special treat! Second grade learning about water safety at the YMCA. We had blast learning how to help a friend get out of the water safely and how to safely get back to the side if we fell in.

A wonderful day of learning!! Here are some glimpses into a day as a Cub! Kindergarten had special a visitor from NC Cooperative Extension, Sara Gales. They were able to learn about the pumpkin life cycle and make play-dough models! Fifth graders can be seen working hard in fraction stations. Fall Title 1 Night at Childers. We had some great games for the kids, sessions for the parents and food. Thanks to all of our staff for putting it together. Art club students for creating decorations and families for coming out!

Cub Families: Mark your calendars; picture day is coming!! Fall Picture Day is on October 16th, 2025. Please see flyer for more purchase information. Make-Up Picture and Holidays Picture Day is on November 18th, 2025.

Join us on 9/30 from 4:30 - 6:30pm for Family Night. We will have activities for the kids, sessions for the adults and food for all. Students that attend 4 sessions will earn a ticket for a hat day at the school.

WE want YOU!! YOUR attendance is IMPORTANT & EVERY minute counts.
