Mrs. Sharp's class got to ring the bell this morning! They met their reading stamina goal and are off to work on their next goal. Great job kiddos!

SpiritWear is available online all year!

Almost two years ago, we planned to redecorate our conference room. We asked for students to draw pictures of St. James, and Max (pictured here) was the first to bring in a drawing. There are also some staff who did artwork. Check it out! We're glad to finally have it complete!

Remember, tomorrow is World Mental Health Day! Wear your GREEN!

Mrs. Clancy and Mrs. Boorman have been busy lately! On a rollercoaster track to success during last week's fun run and "out of the office" on our rolling desks today!

A few of MANY photos that were taken during Friday's fun run! Everyone had a blast, and we raised over $50K! Thank you to everyone who helped in any way!

Mrs. Heffner's Kindergarten took the cow back from Mrs. Ramsue's 4th graders today. These kinders had 100% ATTENDANCE in the month of September. Way to go!

First truckload of water going up to Burnsville this morning! The amount of water dropped off already is amazing - there's even more in our foyer. Thank you everyone!

As a part of the East Lincoln Zone's efforts to support Burnsville, SJES will collect adult and baby diapers from October 3-11. Students may drop off diapers in the designated space in the foyer each morning. The entire collection from all schools will be delivered the weekend of October 12-13.

Congrats to Mrs. Ramsue! She received our September Roller-COASTER. We appreciate the amazing way she connects to each student in her class.

Our students and staff loved on Shawn, Chad & Nury today! We are the luckiest! HAPPY CUSTODIAL STAFF DAY!

A few of our staff have ties to Burnsville, which is a small mountain town between Asheville and Boone. The community has a desperate need for water. A few trucks will be going up this Thursday to take water. You can drop water off at St. James on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. We will do more collections for other needs soon!
