We are all so proud of Mrs. Smith's first graders for meeting their reading stamina goal today!

We want our students here all day, every day, if they are healthy! Did you know? Chronic tardiness in elementary and middle school is also linked to failure in high school. (Gottfried, 2011)

Reminder to families: Student water bottles must be clear. Many are beginning to bring water bottles that do not meet our requirements. Students were reminded today, and it's our expectation that all students comply with this rule. Thank you for helping!

All Lincoln County Elementary Schools are working together in this season of giving to collect donations for the teachers of Micaville Elementary in Burnsville, NC. These teachers lost everything in their classrooms during the flood and will not return to their building. However, they are being dispersed into other schools without any of their personal teaching supplies. We would love for every elementary student and staff member to donate $1 between 11/18-11/26 so we can help these teachers replace their teaching supplies to welcome their classes back in a new building. You may send in a dollar bill any day during our collection period. Thank you!
