Thank you, Insurance Byus, for continuing your support of St. James with a Tier 1 Sponsorship! We appreciate your ongoing support.

Due to the changes in middle and high school open house date/times, please check our new staggered preferences for open house. Again, if you cannot make it at your assigned staggered time - come when you can!

Our first Tier 2 sponsor this year is Skinsational Anti-Aging Boutique! Skinsational is located in Denver and is excited to partner with St. James this year.

Thank you Bolton Roofing for renewing your Tier 1 sponsorship with St. James this year. We appreciate your ongoing support of our school!

A huge THANK YOU to Lineberger Orthodontics for becoming our first Tier 1 sponsor this year! They are located in Denver and are excited to partner with our school.

If you did not get your postcard, remember that you may login to the Power School Parent Portal to find out who it is. If you cannot get logged in, please email either Mrs. Goforth (jgoforth@lincoln.k12.nc.us) or Mrs. Clancy (sclancy@lincoln.k12.nc.us).

Our new LCS and SJES websites are now LIVE! Thank you to Mrs. Toler for her hardwork as our webmaster this summer. https://www.lincoln.k12.nc.us/o/sjes

Here are your open house details!
We appreciate you trying to help us with parking and capacity by staggering your visit by your last name. If you cannot make it at the assigned time, we still want you to come when you can!

Students, we can't wait to see you in two weeks!
The first day of school for students is August 14, 2024.

In effort to avoid tardies, students will not be allowed to bring "drive-thru" type meals and drinks into class after 8:00 am. If they arrive tardy with these items, they will need to finish them in the office before going to class.

Attention parents of 1st-5th graders: Your teacher assignment postcards were mailed today! Please do not call the front office to get your teacher assignment. Office staff will not give this information out over the phone.

Need a new water bottle to meet our new requirements (see Tuesday's post)? These bottles can be found at any "big box" store like Walmart. Of course, disposable water bottles are easy, too. However, our Spirit Wear store is also an option! 1stplace.sale/578882

This year, all water bottles must be clear, able to lock closed, and not glass. This will prevent spills, stains, and loud noise when they fall. This will ensure that water bottles are a necessity; not a fashion statement which causes a disruption to the learning environment.

Our final "welcome" post features Mrs. Abbey Bumgarner, our new guidance counselor! Mrs. Bumgarner will work alongside Mrs. Ruble and Teddy this year. Give her a welcome below!

Attention rising kindergarten families: Your letters were put in today's mail. In the letter will be your teacher assignment, open house information, and staggered enrollment date.
Grades 1-5 post cards will be mailed July 29th!

Welcome back, you two!

Yesterday, we had our new staff orientation with these fabulous five folks!

Please reach out to Mrs. Ruble to sign up for shopping at the Asbury Resource Center. jruble@lincoln.k12.nc.us

When you go by central services next, check out our 2024-2025 display in the commons area! St. James is "On Track for Excellence"!
