CLUB DATES

  • Ignite Club provides students with the opportunity to join in a morning devotion led by your peers.  We will have our first meeting Wednesday, Aug. 26th at 7:20 in Mrs.Natalie Beam’s room 603.  Everyone is welcome to attend and bring a friend!

  • Student council sign ups will begin Monday, August 24 until September 4th. Ms. Almanza will be in the cafeteria during lunch Mondays and Wednesdays to hand out sign up sheets. Or you can go to Room 130 to grab one starting Monday 8/24. 

  • Are you interested in leading peer mentorships, service projects, and engaging your community? The Student Lighthouse Team is taking new applicants! You received an email from Mrs. Simpson on Monday detailing the application process. Fill out the online application or see Mrs. Simpson for more information. The application process closes today!

ACADEMICS            

Announcements

  • Any students interested in taking drivers ed online can register now on the LSC’s webpage. Class starts August 31st - September 11th 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Willis in room 304.

  • Senior Class Officer Signups are now posted outside Mrs.Natalie Beam’s door.  Room 603 on the Science Hallway.  Signups will remain posted until Wednesday September 2nd.  Voting will take place on the 3rd :)

  • Mascot forms are available for pickup from Mrs.Natalie Beam room 603.  If you are wanting to sponsor a child please come pick up a form today.  They must be in kindergarten or 1st grade at one of our 4 feeder elementary schools.  Forms are due September 3rd.  No late applications will be accepted.

  • Yearbooks are on sale now for the cheapest price of the year! Purchase this month for $75 and if you add personalization you get four free icons of your choice! You can purchase online through www.jostens.com or bring a check or cash to Ms. Kathy Beam in room 101 or 106. You can also do a payment plan and bring $10 a month through April and have your yearbook paid off! Get yours before the sale ends! No extra yearbooks will be ordered for sale, so purchase yours NOW!

  • Senior statement sheets are due to the yearbook room by the end of August. If you did not receive one they are outside the yearbook room.

  • Senior Ads for the yearbook are on sale now and are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Get your deposit in now to guarantee your ad! These are also outside the yearbook room hanging on the wall!

  • School pictures are August 25th! Every student will have their picture made, so come to school looking spry next Tuesday! This is also the final day for senior make-up pictures. These will be in the library from 7:40-2:00 p.m. Make an appointment time with Mrs. Kathy Beam now!
