Good Evening Iron Station Family, I want to provide you with some information for this school week! I have a very special visitor here with me today! Landrie Lineberger, a third-grade student here at Iron Station, is here to help me today! There will be no school on Tuesday, September 24th. This is Parent/Teacher Conference Day! I hope everyone has been on their best behavior. Thursday, September 26th is National PTO Day. We are so thankful for our PTO and all that they do for our school! Don't forget about the Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser. The deadline is in less than two weeks. Donations can be collected in the form of cash, checks, or via Paypal. For Paypal donations, please make sure that the student's name(s) are typed in the notes section of the donation so we know who it is for. All money and boards must be turned in by this Friday, September 27th to be eligible for prizes. We cannot wait to begin another wonderful week of school! We are thankful to have you all as part of our Iron Station Family!

Your child should have a white folder coming home about the library fundraiser. Go to the website and fill out the information. The company will send a form letter to the people on your list where they can buy all sorts of items or purchase a gift card for the classroom teacher. Return the white envelope with the code given on the website for your child to receive a prize. Thank you for your support!

Good Evening Iron Station Family, I want to provide you with some information for this school week! Progress Reports go home with students tomorrow, September 16th. Help the library raise money to buy new books! Your child will bring home a white envelope this week. Please zap the QR code and fill out the information. The company will send out a form email to the people you list so they can buy gift cards for the classroom teachers or other items (magazines, wrapping paper, gift items, cookbooks, etc.) Your child will receive a prize just for returning the completed envelope. Dress your best this Thursday, September 19th! This will be the date of our Fall Pictures. Order forms went home with students last week. Once again this year, Lincoln County Schools will be using Securly to help monitor Internet usage for students. Securly allows parents to monitor Internet history and modify at-home usage policies for their students' district-issued device. Parents that have a valid email address on file will receive an enrollment invitation email. Thank you all for your cooperation and vigilance in keeping our school and students safe. A message was sent out from Lincoln County Schools on September 12th. It was sent through our Apptegy platform. If you still have not signed up for Apptegy, please contact your child's teacher for assistance. All money and boards must be turned in by September 27th to be eligible for prizes. We cannot wait to begin another wonderful week of school! Our biggest fundraiser of the school year kicked off this week and we had some super special Pokémon experts visiting classes to get everyone excited for the walk-a-thon! Each student was sent home with a walk-a-thon board. For each amount of money that is collected, the corresponding pokeball should be colored to track the money you raise. If you have multiple kids who attend Iron Station Elementary School, please submit only ONE board for your family! Donations can be collected in the form of cash, checks, or via Paypal. For Paypal donations, please make sure that the student's name(s) are typed in the notes section of the donation so we know who it is for when we reconcile the boards and money raised! Here is direct link to the walk-a-thon donation page: https://www.paypal.com/donate/... ALL MONEY AND BOARDS MUST BE TURNED IN BY SEPTEMBER 27 TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZES! Prizes will be determined by certain amounts raised: - At least $1 needs to be collected for student to participate in the walk-a-thon on October 4 - Raise $100 to earn time on the inflatable obstacle course that will be on campus on the day of the event - Complete your board, which totals $280, to pie a teacher in the face! - The top 3 students who raise the most money will receive a personalized keychain Since we don't have any big ticket item needs this year, with the funds we raise, we are plan to provide support in as many areas of our school as we can, including but not limited to: tinting classroom windows, mulch for the playgrounds, clearing Amazon wishlists, and saving a portion for a new sign at the road! Remember, the more we raise, the more we can do, just like last year when we exceeded our goal and were able to provide swings for BOTH playgrounds! Now get out there and CATCH 'EM ALL!
