Do you have a third, fourth, or fifth grade student at ISES? Does your student like to sing, dance, and act? Is your child looking to find a community to become a part of?
Your student is officially invited to audition for ISES' s production of "The Lion King"! Auditions will be held on Thursday, September 12th from 2:45-4:00 PM in the music room! For a copy of the audition packet, come see Ms. McGuire or visit https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/11DOy426BwD2P-VM0x_pWsYXawoJvBttG?usp=drive_link. Your student must bring a completed audition form to Ms. McGuire on or by September 12th!

Second graders learn to work cooperatively.

Fourth garders work on a theme picture sort.

Third graders showed off their "Array's of Sunshine" where they learned the meaning of multiplication and practiced drawing arrays.

Our biggest fundraiser of the school year kicked off this week and we had some super special Pokémon experts visiting classes to get everyone excited for the walk-a-thon!
Each student was sent home with a walk-a-thon board. For each amount of money that is collected, the corresponding pokeball should be colored to track the money you raise. If you have multiple kids who attend Iron Station Elementary School, please submit only ONE board for your family!
Donations can be collected in the form of cash, checks, or via Paypal.
For Paypal donations, please make sure that the student's name(s) are typed in the notes section of the donation so we know who it is for when we reconcile the boards and money raised! Here is direct link to the walk-a-thon donation page: https://www.paypal.com/donate/...
ALL MONEY AND BOARDS MUST BE TURNED IN BY SEPTEMBER 27 TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZES!
Prizes will be determined by certain amounts raised:
- At least $1 needs to be collected for student to participate in the walk-a-thon on October 4
- Raise $100 to earn time on the inflatable obstacle course that will be on campus on the day of the event
- Complete your board, which totals $280, to pie a teacher in the face!
- The top 3 students who raise the most money will receive a personalized keychain
Since we don't have any big ticket item needs this year, with the funds we raise, we are plan to provide support in as many areas of our school as we can, including but not limited to: tinting classroom windows, mulch for the playgrounds, clearing Amazon wishlists, and saving a portion for a new sign at the road!
Remember, the more we raise, the more we can do, just like last year when we exceeded our goal and were able to provide swings for BOTH playgrounds!
Now get out there and CATCH 'EM ALL!

Congratulations Iron Station!

Good afternoon Iron Station families! For those who don't know, I am the new school counselor. We are continuing the backpack program this year. For those families who are new to our school or those who don't know, this is where we will provide extra food for students over the weekend starting the week of September 2nd and until the last week of the school year. Each week students return their bags, as we will attempt to reuse these each week. If you would like to sign-up for this program, please reach out and let me know! Thank you and have a wonderful day!

The ELHS Mustang Volleyball Senior Leadership team is sponsoring a Moms Morning Out elementary school camp on Saturday, September 7th. They will have music, games and crafts for all of the kids that attend!

Good Evening Iron Station Family,
I want to provide you with some information to start this school week! We have a special treat today! Hadley Burgin, a fifth-grade student at Iron Station, is going to help me deliver our weekly update!
First, thank you all for your dedication, patience, and cooperation over the last several weeks. Whether it was attending Open House, sending in supplies, or communicating with us about your children, we appreciate you.
On Tuesday, August 27th, we will have our School Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A! It will be from 5:00-7:00. Drive-thru orders will also count! Just make sure to mention Iron Station Elementary at the time of purchase!
Our Online Student Registration/Data Verification for the 2024-2025 school year is now available for you to complete! This is required each school year as this allows our district to verify all student demographic, emergency, medical information, and numerous consent forms for your child for this school year. You should have received an email with a link to update this information. Please complete this as soon as possible. If you are a brand new student to Lincoln County Schools and just enrolled with us this summer before the school year started, you DO NOT have to complete this. All this information was covered in your New Student Enrollment. We appreciate you taking the time to update your information!
Our Third Grade students will take their BOG on Wednesday, August 28th. Please make sure they arrive at school by 7:55 AM and get a good night of rest on Tuesday!
We are experiencing delays during our car rider dismissal. Our staff are not allowed to buckle students in their car seats. If your child needs to be buckled in their seat, please pull forward and park to do so. This will eliminate delays and help our car rider line to move much more efficiently.
Please mark your calendar for Monday, September 2nd. This is Labor Day and there will be no school for students!
We cannot wait to begin another wonderful week of school! We are thankful to have you all as part of our Iron Station Family!
