I want to provide you with some information for this school week!
Students in Ms. Kelly and Ms. Kenda's class will travel on Wednesday, December 18th. They have a field trip and we know they will have so much fun!
Our Christmas Spirit Week will start tomorrow! Monday will be "Long Winter's Nap". Don't forget to wear your pajamas. A reminder text will be sent each evening to remind you of events for the following day!
The last school day for students before Christmas Break will be December 20th. Students will return to school on January 8th.

Congratulations to all of our Spelling Bee Contestants!!! They did a wonderful job! It was a nail biter and they were very competitive! Our school winner was Angela Wells!! Our runner-up was Braylynn Dudley!

Our Third-Grade students will travel to the Children's Theatre of Charlotte on Thursday, December 12th, to view "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever."
We will have a Christmas Spirit Week! This will be held December 16th-20th. A list of events has been posted on our Live Feed and Social Media. It will also be attached to this weekly email and posted again on the Live Feed.

I want to provide you with some information for this school week!
Tomorrow is the last day we will be collecting money for Micaville! We are challenging each Elementary School student and staff member in Lincoln County to donate $1.00 to help Micaville Elementary restore their classrooms after Hurricane Helene. Remember, no donation is too small!
Progress reports will go home with students on Monday, November 25th. If you have not completed your online Returning Student Verification, a paper copy will be sent home with Progress Reports. Please look over the information, correct any changes or errors, and return it to school as soon as possible.
There will be no school for students on Wednesday, November 27th! Students will return from Thanksgiving Break on Monday, December 2nd.

Our fifth graders had a great time learning about the programs that Lincoln County School of Tech offers for high schoolers! Some of them allow students to get a *FREE* certification or degree that will set them up for their future career. They also offer summer camps that students will be eligible to attend starting the summer after 6th grade. We appreciate them for giving our students this opportunity!

On Monday, November 18th, we will be having our November Spirit Night! The LKN Cheesecakery Truck will be behind the school from 2:30 to 5:30 PM. We hope you can join us!
