What a way to start Spring Break!? Several of our classes began their celebration early with a trip to Rock the Spectrum in Hickory on the Friday prior to break. Thank you to all the staff and parents who made this a delightful event for all the children!

Tuesday evening under the direction of Mrs. Godfrey, our first and second graders performed for a record breaking crowd. The students put on a wonderful show and were excited to perform for everyone. Some of our student leaders led the program and performed a skit featuring the of the 7 Habits of Leader in Me. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students by allowing letting them to showcase their genius!

Mrs. Hoffman encourages positive visits to the office. These students were recognized by Mrs. Wall for demonstrating one or more of the 7 Habits. Way to go!!!

Hello Parents, As we approach the end of the school year, we’ve created a flyer with upcoming events and important dates. We hope this will help you be proactive in planning your attendance at your children’s celebrations and activities. We look forward to finishing the year strong as Cardinal Leaders!
May 22 is the last day of school for students. Students will be dismissed at 12:00.

Autism Acceptance Day

Yesterday Mrs. Hoffman made the rounds to classrooms, to be a surprise guest reader. Students got to hear the book "What Would Happen if Everyone Did That", while being encouraged to think critically about how seemingly small actions can have a big effect on the world around us.
