We have a lot of little athletes in the nest today! Love Memorial wants to wish everyone a Happy Football Friday Night! Best of luck to West Lincoln as they prepare for the Battle of Hog Hill at Fred T. Foard.

Ms. Kirby’s cardinals were sharing their strengths for each other in their morning meeting and one of the students had something to say about his 3rd grade teacher.
A note from Liam in Mrs. Kirby's class: “Ms. Kirby’s strength is being a good teacher.”

A note from Mrs. Grant: My 2nd grade cardinals are learning to work together. We are Better Together!
Habit 6 of Leader in Me: Synergize

Check out Mrs. Burgess’ small groups working hard to master digraph “th” this week!

A note from Mr. Bess: The water cycle is happening all around us but my students created a mini-model water cycle to get a closer look. Check out these temperature experiments my students ran to examine results of temperature variation.

A note from Ms. Shaw: We learned today about Labor Day and all the occupations out there. We also did a game of guess who with guessing the occupation on their head while their peers gave them hints. Habit 6 SYNERGIZE

Our youngest cardinals in Pre-K are settling into the nest here at Love Memorial. We are excited to see these little ones become big leaders over the school year!

A note from Ms. Allen: My class was sitting nicely during the calendar and Leader In Me lesson.

A note from Mrs. Burgin:
5th graders were working hard in math today. I want to share a few photos of students interpreting PEMDAS equations using pipe cleaners and index cards.

A note from Mrs. Grant
Love Leads: My class practiced habit 4 by filling each others emotional piggy banks full of kind compliments! They grinned from ear to ear after reading all the kind things their classmates wrote to them.
