Today was Mrs. Thomas' last day at Pumpkin Center Intermediate! She is retiring after 29 years of dedication to supporting students and their families! Thank you so much Mrs. Thomas for your support and encouragement you have brought to our community. We will miss you but enjoy your next chapter of retirement!

What a great Monday to be a cougar! Thank you to the North Lincoln Middle School Band for coming to play for our 5th graders! We loved seeing the pjs for our don't be tardy pajama party today! Reminder for everyone that Class picture day is tomorrow so dress your best!

Due to continued hazardous black-ice conditions on secondary roads, Lincoln County Schools will be closed for in-person instruction on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Students will continue remote learning. Teachers will communicate assignments and expectations with families and students through email or Apptegy. Staff may continue to work remotely or may report to their site on a 3-hour delay. This day will not be made up. We are continuing to monitor road conditions and will resume in-person learning as soon as it is safe for students and staff to return to school. Snow day, but make it superintendent-approved: Due to the potential for hazardous road conditions and winter storm warnings in our community, all Lincoln County Schools will be closed for students on Monday, January 26, 2026, with no remote learning. Unexpected twinning is the best!

Wednesdays were made for clubs! This chilly morning M&M club was playing a new game! This afternoon our 4-H club had goats visit!!

Reminder there will be no school on Monday January 19th in honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day! We will see you all on Tuesday!

Week 1 at Starbase has been a blast! Our first group of 5th graders spent this week in Charlotte having a hands-on experience. We are so grateful for this opportunity for our students!
