Good afternoon families and happy new year!! This is your Principal Mrs Beam calling with our weekly updates.

Monday and Tuesday of this week are teacher workdays and there will be no school for students. We are excited to welcome our students back in the building on Wednesday January 7th and can’t wait to see their smiling faces after a long holiday break. We hope everyone had a blessed holiday spending time doing what you enjoy with the people you love.

On Thursday, our PTO is sponsoring a duty-free lunch for our teachers; if you would like to sign up to volunteer, please visit our school Facebook page or contact the front office.

Friday is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and we extend a heartfelt thank you to our very own Officer Schultz for the many hats he wears as our school resource officer.

Looking ahead, report cards will go home on Thursday January 15, our January All-Pro Dads meeting will be held on Friday, January 16, and there will be no school for staff and students on Monday, January 19, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

As we return to school, we encourage families to take a few simple steps to help reduce the spread of illness. Washing bookbags jackets, and lunch boxes, reminding children to wash their hands often, and practicing good hygiene can make a big difference. Please also remember that students should be fever-free and vomit-free for at least 24 hours before returning to school. Thank you for helping us keep our school community healthy.

Have a great afternoon - we look forward to seeing all of our LIONS back in the building on Wednesday.
