Local fire department was dispatched WLHS high. Thankfully, it was a false alarm due to mechanical malfunction with a motorized floor cleaner. All students and staff evacuated promptly and are all safe. School will resume with our normal scheduled day. Thank you to our local fire department for responding promptly.
WLHS will be administering the PreACT to all first-time sophomores on Thursday, October 23rd. Testing will be on the Cannon Hall. Students taking the Pre-ACT should grab breakfast and report directly to their assigned testing site that morning. Classroom locations may change during testing. Therefore, students not taking the Pre-ACT should check with their teachers ahead of time to confirm where the class will meet that day.

The West Lincoln High School Concert Band is making West Lincoln History today! They have been invited to perform in conjunction with one of the premier collegiate ensembles in our area. They will take the stage tonight at 7 pm in the Keppel Auditorium on the campus of Catawba College. Come cheer on this dedicated group of students as they continue to push the boundaries of performance excellence for the Rebel Bands program — all during one of the most impactful and defining semesters in the program's history.

Edit - No school for students, Oct. 13-14

Foods I class practiced their knife skills last week. They made healthy homemade fries in the air fryer. They were a hit!
