Hoops For Hunger
Today was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen our school culture. All students had the chance to explore the 26 clubs currently offered at WLHS. We hope that each student found a club that interests them, allowing us to continue expanding our programs and fostering a stronger sense of belonging. Thank you to Cooper Boyles and his helpers for organizing this event. Also, thank you to all the club sponsors and members who presented their clubs.
Give A Dress Give A Dream
Scism’s chemistry classes had a Halloween Glow Party while studying stoichiometry (a review of a calculation of specific reactants and products in a chemical reaction)! How FUN!!
Mrs. Wagoner’s Math 3 students have just wrapped up an exciting unit on the volume of 3D shapes! 🎉 Students applied their real-world measurement skills by building their own 3D animal creations using a variety of geometric solids. They measured each piece, calculated the volume of every shape, and determined the total volume of their completed animal. To celebrate their hard work, these amazing creations are now proudly on display in the school library, where students and staff can stop by and vote for their favorites!
Keep those Sadie proposals coming! It's going to be a great night.
The WLHS and Asbury Academy Student Lighthouse Teams collaborated on a project for Veterans today! In honor of Veterans Day, the Rebels and Pirates teamed up to pack treat bags filled with candy and West Lincoln swag as a small gesture to simply say, “Thank you for your service.” It’s our way of showing appreciation to the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom. 🇺🇸
It's time to say YES to Sadies!
Sadie Hawkins Dance is Saturday, Nov. 15th from 8pm-11pm. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
