Baseball Interest Meeting! All 6th-8th grade boys who are interested in playing baseball this spring should come to the gym on Friday, February 6th. To try out, you must have an updated physical and concussion form filled out.

The West Lincoln Middle School Boys Basketball Team are the 2026 LMS New Years Shootout CHAMPIONS!!!! A slow start lead to a 9-13 halftime deficit for the Chiefs, but they dug deep and fought hard to grit out a 32-24 over East Lincoln (after falling to EL 40-30 last Tuesday in the Athlete’s Lab Christmas Tournament). So proud of these boys and the drive and hustle they bring each and every day. A special thank you to Noah Huss and Andrew Grooms!! You guys lead these boys with passion and dedication. Our work isn’t finished, though. The regular season starts now!! Chief Pride, ALL THE TIME!!!

Show your support for students of all ages across Gaston and Lincoln counties by joining us on Sept. 27, 2025. This community event, held at Gaston College’s beautiful Dallas campus, features a 5K run and a 2K walk or fun run. When you register, you can choose to designate 20% of your registration fee to directly support to Gaston College, Gaston County Schools, Lincoln County Schools, or Lincoln Charter School. Bring the whole family and help us continue to build momentum in our community and schools!

We had the joy of surprising Ms. Tina Boyles, art teacher at WLMS, with a very special recognition!
Ms. Boyles thought we were there to interview her for Fine Arts Week… but instead, she was surprised with a heartfelt video message from one of her former students. 💜
