Young Lincoln Leaders is a Lincoln County High School Leadership Program that focuses on IMPACT THROUGH ACTION.
Who: 10-12th Lincoln County Schools students.
What: Leadership Program that provides opportunity to develop and use leadership skills such as vision, values, service, communication, innovation, and impact.
When: Once a month during the school day.
Where: LCST (Lincoln County School of Technology - meet and then head out into the community during meetings.) Transportation is provided.

All spectators ages eighth grade and younger MUST be accompanied by a legal guardian or responsible adult 21 years of age or older in order to enter and remain inside the stadium or gymnasium.

Lincoln County Schools is pleased to announce 2024 Advanced Placement (AP) Data:
⭐ 1470 Total AP exams taken
⭐ 18 AP Capstone Diplomas (pass 4 AP exams plus AP Seminar and Research)
⭐ 26% of 2024 graduates passed at least one AP exam in high school
⭐ 206 AP Scholars taking and passing 3 or more AP exams in high school
⭐ 801 students taking AP classes across all 4 high schools

Over the summer, our Technology Services Department has worked on multiple projects, many requiring long hours and weekend work. Thank you for all you have done to help us prepare for the new school year!


Elementary school teachers attended Back to School Professional Development sessions held across the district on Friday.

All middle and high school teachers gathered at North Lincoln High School for professional development today. Teachers and school administrators attended sessions on Building Academic Vocabulary and The New Art and Science of Teaching, and participated in subject-area Professional Learning Communities.

Due to projected inclement weather, Middle and High School Open House for Lincoln County Schools will be moved from Thursday, August 8 to Monday, August 12 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm.


Due to inclement weather, all athletic events and practices will be canceled for Thursday, August 8. This will also affect scrimmages on Friday, August 9. Please check your school’s website to see when the scrimmages have been rescheduled.

Students at 15 schools will eat free breakfast and lunch for the 2024-2025 school year as part of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
Students who attend one of the following schools will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost and do not have to complete a free or reduced price meal application.
