March is Music In Our Schools Month! We are so fortunate to live, grow, and learn in a community that values and supports music education. Thank you for all you do to support the arts at Iron Station Elementary School!
Hello, ISES families! "The Lion King: Kids" is just over a month away! Your student will be receiving a ticket order form this week to reserve your seats for the play. Tickets are $5 per seat, and will be available to purchase from now until the show date (or we sell out). Thank you for supporting your children and their interests in the arts!

Our Second Grade students have their Safety Around Water Trip this week. They will travel to the Lincolnton YMCA Monday-Thursday. The teachers have sent home specific directions for items that need to be sent. Please make sure to check your app for the message.
Have a roaring good time and dance the night away at our school dance. The dance will be held on Friday, February 28th. The event time for PreK-2nd Grade will be from 5:00-6:15 PM. The event time for 3rd-5th Grade will be from 6:30 -7:45 PM. Admission is $5 per person and $20 for families of 4 or more. Students must be accompanied by an adult.
We would love for you to join us for our Spring Family Night. It will be held on Tuesday, March 25th from 5:15-7:00 PM. The rain date for this event will be March 27th. We plan to grill hot dogs for our families. You are invited to bring chairs or a blanket, to enjoy your food at our track area. This will allow you to visit with other Iron Station families. Good Evening Iron Station Family,
I hope you all have enjoyed your weekend! I want to bring you a few updates for this week and beyond.
This week is Bus Driver Appreciation Week! We sure do love our bus drivers. They are wonderful ladies and we are so very thankful for them. Please encourage your children to tell their bus driver thank you this week!
Progress reports will go home with students on Monday.
Our 5th Grade students will be traveling to STARBASE this week. Please ensure that students arrive to school by 7:55 AM. Students always enjoy this trip and our 5th grade teachers are looking forward to it.
On Tuesday, if you are in town and looking for something yummy to eat, stop by Goodwood Pizza! They will be hosting a school night to benefit Iron Station.
There will be a PTO Meeting on Thursday, February 13th at 5:15 PM. The meeting will be held behind the school, in the PTO Mobile.
Please mark your calendars for February 17th. This is a workday for staff and there will be no school for students.
