What a wonderful way to kick off another great year at Love Memorial! 🎉 A special thank you to Riverview and Southside Baptist for helping make our Back to School Bash such a memorable evening. Despite the rain, our Love Memorial family came together for an evening full of fun, food, fellowship, and exciting door prizes. The weather couldn’t stop our students from having a great time—they embraced the rain and made memories while playing outside with their friends. We are so thankful for the continued support of our community partners and everyone who helped make this event a success!

🍎 Today, Mrs. Parks’ class became apple farmers as they were introduced to their very first multiplication strategy: equal groups! Students “harvested” apples to build equal groups and model multiplication problems, discovering that multiplication is about creating groups with the same number in each one. Hands-on learning makes new math concepts meaningful, and our farmers had a great harvest today!

Arts in Education Week may only last a week, but we’re celebrating all month long! 🎨 Our students are putting their art knowledge to the test with an Artist Showdown bracket in art class! Each week, they’ll learn about two influential artists, compare their contributions, and vote on who they believe made the greatest impact on the world of art. From Pablo Picasso to Leonardo da Vinci and many more, this friendly competition is helping students discover the artists who have shaped history while strengthening their appreciation for creativity, culture, and self-expression. Who do you think will take the championship? 🖌️🏆

Being in school adds up! Missing just two days each month can put a student at risk of falling behind academically. Every day in the classroom is another opportunity to learn, grow, and connect. Be here. Keep learning. Keep moving forward. #BeHereLCS #BeHereLoveMemorial

Every great school day starts with a great team! This Labor Day, we’re celebrating our Morning Nutrition Team! These student leaders help our young learners get their breakfast, make sure they have everything they need, and help keep the cafeteria running smoothly each morning. Their kindness, responsibility, and willingness to serve others help create a calm, welcoming start to the day for everyone. We’re so proud of the difference they make before the first bell even rings! ❤️
