Wildcat Math in Action!
Our LMS math students are sharpening their problem-solving skills this week!
6th Grade: Tackling ratio challenges using equivalent and unit ratios.
7th Grade: Mastering order of operations and exploring percent of change.
8th Grade: Studying angles and diving into systems of equations.
Math minds at work — every problem solved is one step closer to success!

6th Grade: Exploring soil properties and conservation while getting ready to write their Soil & Water Conservation essays!
7th Grade: Diving into the world of cells—comparing plant and animal cells and discovering how each part works together.
8th Grade: Reviewing elements, compounds, and mixtures as they build a deeper understanding of chemistry!

Here’s a look at the amazing things happening at Lincolnton Middle:
In band, eighth grade students are gearing up for 8th Grade Band Night with the Lincolnton High School Wolfpack Band.
Sixth and seventh graders are mastering new notes and sharpening their playing skills.
Chorus is busy preparing for the Christmas concert AND the Gardner-Webb Choral Clinic.
Art students are adding the finishing touches to their creative collage projects.
We’re so proud of our Wildcats and all their hard work this week!

Sixth graders are wrapping up their exploration of Judaism and celebrating Constitution Day by comparing different forms of government. Seventh graders are diving into the stories of forced migration and the slave trade, discovering how these events shaped history and the world we live in today. Eighth graders are stepping into the lives of the thirteen colonies while also tackling the Bill of Rights, exploring the freedoms guaranteed by the first 10 Amendments to the Constitution.

Health classes are diving into how alcohol, tobacco, and drugs impact the body, helping students make smart, healthy choices. In PE, the energy is high as students kick off their volleyball unit by learning the fundamentals and getting ready for gameplay. And in Fitness, students are pushing their limits with heart-pumping HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) workouts designed to build strength, stamina, and confidence!

Sixth grade ELA students are focusing on writing summaries as they read “Cow Dung Custard.” In seventh grade students are learning about the elements of a story. In eighth grade students are building background information before they begin to read The Outsiders.
Students in Mrs. White’s advanced ELA classes are reviewing parts of speech with daily grammar practice. Ms. Olach’s Literature Studies classes are reading a drama while looking for central ideas and supporting evidence.
