As we head into the holiday season, I want to remind you that Christmas Break will be December 22nd through January 6th, and students will return to school on Tuesday, January 7th.

🎄✨ Get ready for our North Brook Merry & Bright Week, happening this week, December 15th–19th! Monday is Holiday Headgear Day. Wear hats, headbands, and all the festive hair fun! Tuesday, Channel Your Flannel by wearing your favorite plaid. Wednesday is Tacky Christmas Spirit Day, think ugly sweaters, sparkles, and all the red and green you can find! Thursday is Polar Express Day, so grab your coziest pajamas. And Friday is Festive Favorites Day! Dress as your favorite Christmas character! We can’t wait to see our students sparkle with holiday spirit all week long!
🎄 Reminder: Our K–2 Christmas Program will take place on Monday, December 15th at 6:00 PM. We’re excited to showcase what our youngest students have been working on and hope you can join us for a fun and festive evening!

🎅🎁Santa’s Shop has arrived at North Brook! Students will be able to preview the shop on Monday and create their wish lists. Items range from 25¢ to $15.00, so there’s something special for every budget. The shop will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:45 AM to 2:30 PM, and it will close early on Friday at 11:00 AM. You can send cash with your child or purchase a shopping voucher online at www.funhgs.com. This is a fun way for our students to shop for their loved ones and spread some holiday cheer!

🎉 Our food drive was a huge success thanks to your generosity. As a school, we collected 2,132 cans! Our winners were Mrs. Sain and Mrs. Lyndon’s Pre-K class.
💙 On Thursday, December 4th, our first-grade students will travel to the Cultural Center to view Rudolph.
💙 On Friday, December 5th, our second-grade students will travel to the Carolina Theater.

This is Ms. Seagle with some news for the upcoming week!
🚌Our third grade students will travel to The Green Room on Friday, November 21st. Please remember that while the the theater cannot accommodate parents, we do invite parents to meet students at the Chick Fil A inside of Valley Hills Mall, to each lunch with them. If you plan to meet students the approximate time will be 12:00 PM. Third grade teachers will send home reminders and further information on Wednesday.
