Due to hazardous conditions on secondary roads, Lincoln County Schools will be closed for in-person instruction on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Students will participate in a remote learning day, and all staff will work remotely. Teachers will communicate assignments and expectations with families and students through email or Apptegy. This day will not be made up. We will continue to monitor road conditions and will resume in-person learning as soon as it is safe for students and staff to return to school. We are excited to welcome our students back in the building on Wednesday January 7th and can’t wait to see their smiling faces after a long holiday break. We hope everyone had a blessed holiday spending time doing what you enjoy with the people you love.

On Thursday, our PTO is sponsoring a duty-free lunch for our teachers; if you would like to sign up to volunteer, please visit our school Facebook page or contact the front office.

Friday is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, and we extend a heartfelt thank you to our very own Officer Schultz for the many hats he wears as our school resource officer.

Washing bookbags jackets, and lunch boxes, reminding children to wash their hands often, and practicing good hygiene can make a big difference. Please also remember that students should be fever-free and vomit-free for at least 24 hours before returning to school. Thank you for helping us keep our school community healthy.

Have a great afternoon - we look forward to seeing all of our LIONS back in the building on Wednesday.

If you did not get to see our holiday bushes and trees, you missed out! Families did a fabulous job decorating and each entry was very festive and creative. We want to give a huge congratulations to 5th grader, Louis Wilson and family, for winning the 1st annual Holiday Decorating Competition. Judging was done by an outside source who reported back to Mrs. Beam. Louis takes home a gift basket, Amazon gift card, and a 1st place certificate. We hope everyone enjoys the holidays with family!🎄 If you decorated a bush or tree, please come collect your items and decorations sometime over Christmas break. Thank you all for participating!
