SRL was also recognized for meeting academic growth for the 23-24 school year and our kindness club was recognized for their Lincoln Leads initiative. Way to go Lions!

Patriot Day 🇺🇸

Good afternoon S. Ray Lowder families. This message is being sent in support of our LHS athletic department. I know many of you are looking forward to tomorrow night's varsity football game and are excited to cheer on our Wolves! However, I'd like to remind all parents or guardians of the Lincoln County Schools Fan Code of Conduct for all athletic events. In addition to respectful conduct by all students and spectators, all students eighth grade and under must be accompanied by a legal guardian or designated responsible adult 21 years or older to attend athletic events. The legal guardian or accompanying adult will be responsible for the child's supervision and actions at all times. LHS administrators will be at each gate, and students who are not accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 21 will not be admitted into the game. We appreciate your support of our fan code of conduct that serves to keep all spectators safe and ensure our athletic events are enjoyable for all. Have a great evening, and we wish our Wolves the best of luck in tomorrow's game!

Having trouble logging in? Thanks to our friends at NCES for creating this cheat sheet for parents.

We are so appreciative of LCS Maintenance and a group of PTO parents for working hard to make improvements to our K-2 playground!

Good afternoon S. Ray Lowder families! We had a fantastic first day and appreciate your patience as we work out kinks with transportation for new students and kindergarteners. Please remember that bus pick-up and drop-off times may vary up to ten minutes for the first week or so until new bus routes are established. Morning bus riders should be waiting at the bus stop when the bus arrives. In the afternoon, drivers will only drop off students in kindergarten through third grade if an adult is visible. The car rider line may also be a little slower this first week until parents of kindergarten and new students have their car rider tags. Please let your child's teacher know if your student has not received a car rider tag by the end of the week. Also, please do not park in the lot and walk across the street to the sidewalk to pick up your child if he/she is a car rider. Even when walking with a parent, it is a safety concern for several reasons. First, it can be difficult for drivers to see around the curve in that location. Unfortunately, some drivers who aren't parents in the car rider line will speed around the car rider traffic to get to their destination. Also, many parents are distracted when they are leaving the school after they have picked up their child. They are often looking in the backseat to make sure their child is buckled or to begin a conversation about their day. Unless there is an emergency, only parents who walk from nearby neighborhoods to pick up their children should be crossing the street. All others should remain in the car rider line, and I promise it will move more quickly by the end of next week. Thank you again for your patience and for understanding that our main priority is to ensure that students are transported safely to and from school each day.

A huge thank you to Paul Parker at StateFarm for donating school supplies to our students at S. Ray Lowder. We appreciate you!
