Good evening Blue Jay Families. This is Principal Carroll with some reminders about next week. All third-grade students will take their Beginning of Grade Test on Monday morning. For all parents who were able to attend the information session last Thursday, it was discussed that this test is simply to see where they are in their reading performance. There is no need to be worried or anxious about this test. It is important however for your child to be at school on time to get breakfast and to be able to take the test. It is the expectation that all of our Blue Jays come to school on time every day. Attendance is important. We look forward to another great week watching our Blue Jays SOAR!

Good evening Blue Jay families. Here are some reminders for next week. On Monday our drop-off and pick-up times may run a little longer due to all of our Kindergarten students being in the building altogether for the first time. We appreciate your patience as we work through making sure they both run smoothly. On August 20 a representative from the Boy Scouts will be at North Brook to talk to all students in grades K-5. If you do not want your child to listen to this short presentation, please let your child's teacher know. On August 21 from 6:30-7:30, a representative from the Boy Scouts will be at North Brook to talk to any interested parents. Also on August 21, a Girl Scout representative will be at North Brook to talk to any interested girls in grades 1st through 5th. If you do not want your child to listen to this short presentation, please let your child's teacher know. On August 21 and 22 our Pre-K students will have staggered enrollment. On August 22, a Girl Scout representative will be at North Brook to talk to interested parents from 5:30-6:30. At 6:00, on this same night, we will have a transition meeting for all 3rd grade parents to discuss Third Grade Testing Requirements and the upcoming Beginning of Third Grade Test. This is an important meeting and we hope to see all third-grade parents that night. We hope everyone had a great weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone Monday morning.

Good evening Blue Jay families. We had an excellent first day of school. To help make our car rider line move more smoothly tomorrow, please remember to fill up both lanes to the yellow barrier. We need all cars to pull up and not leave large open gaps between each other to make sure that Highway 274 is not blocked by North Brook traffic. Thank you so much.

Good evening Blue Jays. We are so excited to see everyone tomorrow morning. Doors will open at 7:20. Breakfast will be served until 7:45. Students entering the building after 7:45 will be tardy. Kindergarten students should not arrive until 8:00 on their staggered enrollment day. They will eat breakfast altogether.

Good evening Blue Jay families. This is Principal Carroll with a few reminders about our Open House on Monday, August 10 from 5-7. This is a drop-in session to meet your child's teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. If you were not able to attend our Glow Night at Westwinds Park and do not know who your child's teacher is, we will let you know when you arrive. Also please remember that Kindergarten teachers will have their Orientation from 6-7 on this night. We cannot wait to see everyone!

Good evening Blue Jay Families. This is a reminder that on Monday, August 5 from 5-7, you will be able to meet our new assistant principal, Mrs. Staci Brice, as well as, find out who your teacher will be next year. We will be handing out glow sticks to light up the night to kick off our GLOW Theme of Growing Leaders Out West. Please remember to use both parking lots and do not park in the grass. See you there.

Students, we can't wait to see you in two weeks!
